Nothing digital is involved in the embroidery process. Each bow is freehand embroidered with my vintage-style manual chainstitch machine, combining timeless technique with modern sensibilities. I steer the embroidery direction by hand using a crank underneath the machine table!

Chainstitch embroidery works best with lowercase cursive script lettering. Words in all caps aren’t my jam to stitch, so they’re not offered for this product.

Every letter in every word is lovingly stitched freehand in my workshop in Prescott, AZ. Each one is unique, so not only is a little variation and imperfection expected—it’s celebrated. :)

Details:

• Bow measures approximately 7 inches wide. Length is contingent upon word choice. For reference, “Whatever,” as pictured, is 11 inches long.

• Single-faced satin bow (made in USA) with an attached alligator clip. If no clip is desired, please note it in the ordering field.
