Do you have a sweater with moth holes or worn elbows? Did you spill and stain while gesturing wildly telling a story at dinner? Bought a special vintage piece as is, and can’t wait to give it another life?

Our clothes hold our stories, and I want to honor them.

Think: the items just languishing in a pile somewhere…too special or cool to get rid of, but we don’t fix because… * life *. I can help with that!

I offer bespoke visible mending, darning, Shashiko, embroidery, and more. The stuff with needle and thread that fast fashion forgot about. The slow stuff. I’m honored to save your clothes..

Please note: I do not offer alterations, zipper replacements, etc. But I can refer a couple of solid tailors in the Prescott area if that’s what your garment is searching for.

If you have a garment that needs some attention in the form of creative and visible mending, the process looks like this:

1. Fill out Visible Mending Inquiry form. Be sure to include all the points listed on the form.

2. I’ll reply via email to let you know if the project is within my scope, a description of the mends, and a price quote.

3. You’ll send the garment to me. You pay to get it here, I pay to get it back there. Please note: I will not launder or otherwise clean your item (other than is necessary to remove any marking I may need to do to complete the mend), so please reasonably clean items before sending to me.

4. Once I receive the garment, final details will be confirmed, and I will invoice for a (non-refundable) deposit. Once I receive the deposit, work begins!

5. Upon project completion, I’ll notify you via email. The remaining balance is due at that time.

6. When funds are received, I send your garment back to you, all ready for another life!

For local (Prescott, AZ) mending requests, drop offs and pickups can be made at Palomino Lifestyle Co! (107 E Gurley St.) Indicate that you are local on the form and we’ll go from there!
